Accessible Therapy Program in Ontario

Quality counselling. Flexible fees. Greater access.

Financial circumstances shouldn’t have to stand in the way of getting support.

Our Accessible Therapy Program offers an opportunity to access counselling at a reduced, flexible fee with our student intern, Ruby Ratnasingham, for youth (16+) and individuals in Ontario, Canada. Sessions are offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a base rate of $60 per session, making therapy more accessible for individuals who may find standard counselling fees difficult to manage.

This program is available for a limited time, with sessions to be completed by December 31, 2026.

Meet Ruby

Ruby Ratnasingham, RSW, RECE, RSSW

REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER & PSYCHOTHERAPIST

She is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist and have been practicing in various forms of counselling for 26 years in my capacity as a Registered Social Service Worker, Registered Early Childhood Educator, Registered Social Worker, and now Psychotherapist. She has worked in hospital, academic settings, and community agencies during this time. She started my formal journey in psychotherapy with a degree in Social Work, followed by certificate and professional education level training in psychotherapy including, Body Based Emotion-Focused Therapy for Trauma (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Case Management.

In her psychotherapy work, she works relationally, using an eclectic set of psychotherapy modalities, to help guide individuals towards solutions that are transformative and life-giving.  Her current primary focus is on Nervous System Regulation, but I also draw from modalities including mindfulness, neurobiology-informed modalities, attachment, and emotionally focused approaches.

She helps clients understand how past experiences can shape the way they feel, respond, and relate to others in the present, while developing greater regulation, self-understanding, security, emotional well-being, and a sense of calm. She currently works full-time in the Trauma Therapy Program at Women's College Hospital, providing social service support to individuals with childhood trauma.

She is an active member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators, to maintain my professional accountability.
